The Heartbroke Kid Poem by Xin Ping Wang

The Heartbroke Kid

Because of you, I was feeling hurt.
I gave you my heart when you told me "I am your father."
But it seems like I just haven't met you yet.
I remember that you said, "I'll be back."
You called me pretty lady and only came to say hello.
You avow, "I love you"and as time goes by,
that love became hate and that became suffering.
Now, I can't take no more.
I'll never be with you
until death do us part.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I took a bunch of popular references, imagining what a bitter, emotional girl would feel after what seems eons.
