The Human Eloquence Poem by Varghese J Kuttikat

The Human Eloquence

Lifting up voice for causes solemn
Can't be condemned sound and fury mean
In fact, its eloquence, eminently human
To be equated with thunder divine
The ever gentle Jesus thundered out;
"Don't make my Father's house a market place damned"
Felicity of Eden or bliss heavenly attainable failed
To forestall the tragic fall of Man into the sorriest pit
Hence the commandments with the accent on consequences bloodiest
