The Hunter And The Bird - Poem by Kavitha Krishnamurthy

A somber twilight
The hunter's delight
An awful sight
A bleeding bird's plight
A broken arrow
The aching marrow
Tearful eye
Mournful sigh
The bird's anger
The hunter's hunger

    This makes a broken dirge
