The Hunter-Gatherer Searches With His Eyes Poem by Shalom Freedman

The Hunter-Gatherer Searches With His Eyes

Curiosity essential to survival-
No longer on the savannah
I walk after davvening down the quiet morning street
Of the holy city
And find pleasure in suddenly spying of
White almond blossom leaves
Whose Beauty means only my happiness
