The Indescribable Pain Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

The Indescribable Pain

Rating: 4.0

The Indescribable Pain

This morning there was again
an error on the front page

there stood dark blue letters:
'Unexpected error occurred'

visibly I look happy
but deep within my very heart is hurt
very deep and killing
my brand new poem has disappeared again
deepest pain

no song, no refrain
but there's still the indescribable
pain

This has become a common feature nowadays on PoemHunter. Four days back I had posted my poem named "Goodness " and it did not appear for two good days. The deficit in the webdesign is actually quite irritating

(4) And now it has happened again! I just posted a new poem but can't see it. It is still in cyberspace because it shows on my poem list.

Am I one of the dinosaurs who still uses handwriting? A great way to alleviate some of that indesribable pain!

Sylvia, I'm so happy that you posted this poem. I've been experiencing this problem thinking that it may be my dinosaur laptop. Kim's advice is great, and I had been doing that, but it's a bit bothersome when one is writing a series of very succint poems.

(3) Then copy and paste it onto PoemHunter, and if they lose it because of a computer error, you still have it and don't need to type it all over again!
