The Inside Of Me Poem by Janessa Beitler

The Inside Of Me

I may walk down school hallways like I have every thing and like I don't need anyone,
I look like nothing can hurt me and nothing can bring me down,
It may seem as though I don't care what others say about me,
But deep down inside my chest I have something like you,
Do you know what it is?
It's a heart,
It beats at a different pace but it feels and bleeds like yours,
When I hear things like 'She's loud and annoying' or 'I don't think she'll make it in life' it hurts,
Ecpecialy if you don't know me and you judge me,
It hurts me,
The inside of me is something people will never know.
