The Introvert Poem by Susan Slocumb

The Introvert

Touching your heart and charging your soul
Not taxing your patience or spending your pension
But making you whole
With love and intention

You might think me indifferent
Or that I don’t care
Oh I should mention
I’m here and I’m there
But I’m paying attention

It might dawn on you slowly
By dusk it’ll be clear
Don’t blink or you’ll miss me
On the day I disappear

An intriguing little poem Susan. Did you intend to chop off the last letter of the last word?
