The Kinds

There are kinds of grass,
There are kinds of people;

There are kinds of flowers,
There are kinds of insects;

There are kinds of emotions,
There are kinds of souls;

There are kinds of soldiers,
There are kinds of dictators;

There are kinds of defiance,
There are kinds of races;

There are kinds of hedonism,
There are kinds of systems;

There are kinds of philosophy,
There are kinds of philosophers;

There are kinds of individuality
Among kinds of individuals;

And so does there are kinds of women.

Poem of the Day

poet Christopher Marlowe

It lies not in our power to love or hate,
For will in us is overruled by fate.
When two are stripped, long ere the course begin,
We wish that one should love, the other win;
