The Kitchen Poem by Aron Lelei

The Kitchen

The kitchen gets everybody's attention.
It serves as an attraction to an hungry stomach.
Let alone a belching belly full of gas.
What a room to offer service to all 'tourists'.
It may not be valued as such but just grace it.

The smell that comes out from the kitchen,
Oh! That sweet scent of variety of food.
Yes, the chefs flavoured tasty dishes,
How they salivate our mouths and ignite enzymes.
The kitchen, may not be valued but just grace it.

The most important place in a family,
Even State and White house's occupants value it.
Without the kitchen, we all succumb to death.
The kitchen may not be valued but just grace it.

Finally, chefs and cooks, kudos to you.
Keep our tables plenty of tasty food
Remember also to green them,
As we value and grace this wonderful kitchen.
