Lilith Tuchenhagen (1-15-1998)
The Last Time
I walked up to you with tears streaming down my face
Telling you this is my final goodbye
I turn to walk away
Yet I feel your grip around my scarred wrist
And you tell me that you can't live without me
This is the last time I'll feel this way
Knowing you're by my side forever
This is the last time I'll feel this way
Just wrap me in your arms and tell me everything will be okay
You won't let me say goodbye
This is the last time I'll feel alone
The last time I'll feel unloved
This is the last time I'll cry
The last time I'll feel like nothing
This is the last time
This is the last time
I see darkness all around me
As I sit all alone in the bloodied corner
I think I'm all on my own
Yet I see your light break through the thick cloud of despair
This is the last time I'll feel this way
Knowing you're by my side forever
This is the last time I'll feel this way
Just wrap me in your arms and tell me everything will be okay
You won't let me say goodbye
This is the last time I'll fight
The last time I'll struggle
This is the last time I'll shed tears
The last time I'll feel a void
This is the last time
This is the last time
You take my hand and lead me away from all the pain
You embrace me warmly
You're soft kiss brightening my way
Please keep me in your grasp
And promise me to never abandon me
This is the last time I'll feel this way
Knowing you're by my side forever
This is the last time I'll feel this way
Just wrap me in your arms and tell me everything will be okay
You won't let me say goodbye
This is the last time I'll feel alone
The last time I'll feel unloved
This is the last time I'll cry
The last time I'll feel like nothing
This is the last time
This is the last time
Just tell me everything will be okay
Tell me this is the last time I'll feel this way
Tell me this is the last time
The last time
The last time
