The Leper Poem by Serena Silenced

The Leper

Rating: 5.0

He was a minister who had lost his way.
Inside was a monster bursting forth to get away.
He was demented, he was indiscreet;
He was picking prostitutes off the street.
They weren't missed; not right away.
He had lots of time with them to play.
He enjoyed them, forced them into submission.
But domination wasn't his only mission.

When he was through, he took them outside.
He gave them a little time to run and hide.
The sex act had just been foreplay;
Pacifying the monster kept at bay.
He hunted them down, when he set it free.
He wouldn't have been recognized by you, or me.
With each and every foul act of this foreplay;
He had been stripping layers of his soul away.
It was rotting; it was full of decay.
It was not something he could wash away.
He was losing each piece of his humanity;
Until there was nothing left but his insanity.
He picked up the choir girl when her car broke down.
She lived just on the other side of town.
She accepted the ride but never reached her destination.
They looked for her without hesitation.
They found her body when they dredged the lake.
The minister attended her wake.
He consoled her parents in their grief.
He even shook the hands of the local police chief.
If you see him you better run away;
Or he'll leave you in the ground to decay.

A sinister character has been well portrayed. Seems you watched him closely before writing this. 'With each and every foul act of this foreplay; He had been stripping layers of his soul away. It was rotting; it was full of decay. It was not something he could wash away. He was losing each piece of his humanity; Until there was nothing left but his insanity.' A vivid description of the monster.
