The Limerick Lament Poem by Denis Martindale

The Limerick Lament

There was a man from Limerick,
Who wrote his poems down,
But one day, he felt awful sick,
It really made him frown...
His wife threw all his poems out
And he was sad, of course,
But when he gave his wife a clout,
She gave him a divorce!
