The Lion Poem by franshata sanders

The Lion

Rating: 4.0

I am strong, for the weight of the world is here
resting upon my neck..I have earned every
medal there is to own..for I am fighter..
swimming up stream is a must for me
can't you see..that my strength would
fit TEN men comfortably..walking with
glass thats been embed into my feet
blood in my eyes so I really can't see
but I stay on the prowl..all the while
taking notice of the one's peeping
at me..never forgetting my instincts
an whats expected of me..WHAT AM I..
I AM THE LION'S.. HEART BEAT;
