The Lismore Poem by Zack Holland

The Lismore

She cannot help but kick me in the face;
She doesn't mean to do it but she does.
I love her more than stars can ever race-
She cannot help but kick me in the face.
I want to take her out of this cruel place;
The bruises hurt too much- the path's a fuzz:
She cannot help but kick me in the face;
She doesn't mean to do it but she does.
