Never could I imagine,
That my heart would come to feel,
So strong and powerful it beats,
Whenever he is near.

His voice is a symphony,
His laugh an angel's song,
He is wonderful in every way,
There is no need for change.

I now more than ever,
Want to be closer to him,
To open my arms as he opens his,
Hopefully someday soon.

We both sit waiting,
Hoping, Dreaming,
For that day to come,
and come it shall.

Now as he begins,
His wonderful decent to sleep,
I think to myself,
'This is the reason'

As I drift into my own slumber,
I realize as I smile towards him,
It is for moments like this,
That I continue to live.
