The Magic Elixer Poem by LeAnn Roderick

The Magic Elixer

He's the elixir, the pill, the powder and the drink.
Her companion, he's her habit, The magic in her science.
He's the one that can take her to the brink
Smiling in spite of herself. She swallows him down.
Her heart now free.
It's so easy to get lost in him. Yesterday, Today
and always can't you see.

Ahh, lovely. what a great write. Smiling in spite of herself. She swallows him down. Her heart now free Great lines! I think you'd like my poem the best bad habit you've ever had (no obligation to read it of course) Anyway, I am glad to have stumbled across your work.
