The Maiden Lust



The sentiment of sexual pleasure
That accompanied my maiden love
I enacted with a village girl,
The sentiment neither weakened
Nor strengthened by her rank and face,
Is staying afresh in my memory,
Not to be erased by the subsequent
Affairs with higher elements in them.
