The Mandar Hill Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

The Mandar Hill

I do not know the history
Nor the mythology behind
Just have heard
With a passing reference
That the hill had been instrumental
In the churning of the ocean,
But how could it be,
I think and question
Leaving it all to faith and belief
Appreciate I the temples atop
And the hilly background
Suitable for the Jainas and the Hindu monks
Definitely a tourist spot.
