'The Masterpeice: Fuji's Star' Introduction (Dedicated To Nicole, Her Father, And Of Course My Fellow Readers) Story 2

Within the folds of this blanket
embracing me with a warmth like a crackling flame
break away to taste the morning rays
as it seemed like every boring, questioning day

not knowing who I really was
where I actually belong
feel like a nobody
even without a face to be named
to be made fun of
to be called

all I knew
I fell into a coma
'bout 11 months and 10 days before
when a truck flew past by
crashing me headlong on the side
leaving me in a bed
of a coma and amnesia

yet there was once
this particular name
which strangely cut me fast
as if a resemblance of the long forgotten past
then it was never the same
when I sought to take a day
climbing up every creaking stair
up to the attic of my long forgotten care

yet that name
which stuck fast
implanted on my forehead
is Fuji
just a single word
just a simple name
Fuji

look up from the last step
to find myself
in a constant stare
as this is what caught my eye
