The Mcat Poem Poem by Elizabeth Rabbit

The Mcat Poem

Rating: 5.0

As another line goes up my nose,
I get this amazing feeling from my head to my toes,
Luckily the fella's dealing so my supply never goes.

It's been months now I've been on it,
The only time I stop is when I have a fit,
I don't care anymore as long as I get my hit.

My fella's left, I'm all alone,
Would I of started If I'd known?
I've lost who I was and just become another meow clone.

I sit there with tired glazed eyes,
I see people who aren't there, my head telling me lies,
The voices are shouting at me, another line isn't wise.

I can't see straight, the people there just a whurl,
They're still shouting at me but in my head it's all a slur
I try to get up, I know I need out; every memory every thought, it's all gone, just a blur.

Three days later my dealer's getting concerned,
He kicks through my door, he sees my body and his stomach churned.
He felt bad, but at least he still had the money he earned.

Elizabeth, it's been many years since I was young... but I've tasted the snow, when there was no winter, I've drank from the bottle of life...until I tasted death. Sickening sweet it was. But, that was then... Daddy's Bottle Sometimes, I feel like a mushroom- growing in a cow pie. A surprise awaits you, if you will, tonight's a good night to die- Young. Is that how you feel? Risktakers, heartbreakers, take a little pill. You don't care what it is, or where it came from- Just how high you will get, and how it will make you feel. Daddy's got a bottle, hidden in his stash. It's got a black label, it's gonna get us trashed. My big brother's got some crack, but if you're really a man- I know where I can get some smack. Come on boy's, if you will, take a ride with me- A little trip would be nice, with some LSD, or some ecstasy? Cold, glazed eyes stare unblinking, just can't figure out what went wrong. Man, what were you thinking? Everybody was having fun, we were all into this song, until you went and ruined it all with that stunt of yours. 'Man, get down before you fall! ' You didn't hear us cry- You screamed, 'God gave me wings! ' Then you tried to fly. Red and blue lights flashing, sirens hurt my ears. Our actions have consequences, as we discovered our worst fears. Dark crimson colors flow from your head, the party's over- Now that you're dead. I feel like screaming, but no sound escapes my lips, as I dropp Daddy's bottle- From my fingertips. - I am very taken by your words here, facinated, and yet, frightened... Very moving Write The Mcat Poem...; -) -Kelly.
