The Mighty Stream Slows - Poem by Shalom Freedman

THE MIGHTY STREAM SLOWS

The mighty stream slows
The Lines lose their force
Poetry is a forced effort again
And the Music no longer has any meaning.

Poems are prose
And nothing that one does
Can really write them
Again.

The spark of creativity can be so elusive and frustrating. It's what makes the effort worth it. Great insight! ...Jeff. (Report) Reply
