Lying here
Awake I stare
Dreaming of days gone by
I want to live them as they pass along
Along the shadows of my mind
As long as I am lying here
No shadows will over come
Me as they have done to some
Someday they will fade
And take me with
Along for the ride I will fade to black
And all is well until I get back
I am back and days have gone
Faded to black in the shadows of my mind
Alone I stare into complete blackness
Lying here upon the ground
The days are gone and they sky is gray
Clouded by my sorrows
