The Moon Is Moored Poem by Jonathan Platt

The Moon Is Moored

Rating: 5.0

The moon, like a boat of light,
Dreams of journey - to explore;
For all around in the sea of night,
Stars are islands with shinning shores.
But alas! No adventure - no new lands found:
Its anchor, to the earth - is forever bound.
