I have looked at you
So many times
That I am almost blind
I'll tell you why.

Whenever I look
Up at the moon
I feel as if
I am looking at you.

I have tried to tell you
That you are brighter
Than the stars
But you still tell me I'm wrong.

I now try to tell you
That you are
As beautiful
As the one true moon.

Your gentle touch
Is as comforting
As the light from
The all mighty moon.

If you don't believe me
Then why don't you try
Why don't you try to feel
The moon's gentle touch.
