The Most Beautiful Goodbye
The most beautiful goodbye
is a flower in a life time
Memory of infancy, death in prophesy
all stemming from that ground
where you stood with a little proud
waiting unknowingly for my coming goodbye
I have been folding a paper flower
on where i paint words as a lover
but i think i am still quite a failure
for i paint it with no color
When night like this time
weave your smiles in sweet rhyme
all goodbyes happened once in my life
blush into my face again like that eve
Torn by the passion, helplessly i prepared
that weakest and strongest goodbye
in which i saw our most beautiful eyes
colors in them have been fading these years
for time constantly bringing new faces
They try to mess colors on my paper flower
but turns out they are the same failure
so it remains in no color, my fragrant flower
blooms every year, every season, every night
together with all others
in trees, in wind, in gardens, in wild
Now and forever, i will paint words as a lover
on this paper flower
for it's the most beautiful goodbye
definitely in a life time
I love this poem. It has the quiet, unexspected strength I appreciate. And there other levels of appreciation in the poem. Ity is like a summons to find the wonder in life which is a; readyu there but we don't see.it. Untol a poet points it and the light of truth floods our mind.

This is a hauntingly beautiful piece. It accomplishes what all great poetry should: leaving echoes of emotion rippling through my heart long after the last line fades.
