The Most You'Ll Ever Know Without Meeting Poem by Delwen Doyle

The Most You'Ll Ever Know Without Meeting

Rating: 5.0

I've no patience for common sense
I like things intense.
I couch-surf 5-alarm fires
And never get what I most desire.
I perspire.
I inquire and poke and question and prod
geek-chic offbeat odd.
I believe in a 'God'
A 'higher presence'
but Not that we're 'his' peasants.
I've already written my epitaph.
I like to laugh
And smile
I want to meet a soulful playmate for my inner child
Someone who likes my bumps & curves
& If you push, I will shove.
I lerv to love.
Music is life essence
As is Adventure & suspense.
It always ends in heartbreak
If there's no give to the take.
I dream in 3-D
And bathe in memory
Admire class & smirk at seedy
I give to the needy - but can be greedy.
I question myself & often falter
Family is my rock of Gibraltar.

I want you to know exactly how I feel
But if you heard the truth, you'd not believe it to be real.
