Mother with baby
Still, doubt persist
And we insist
On male's birth
Let that result in female's death

This had been the mentality
In all the societies
Parents wish for male child
They become blindly superstitious

They go in temples
Or mosques and churches
Ask for their prayers
And become simple beggars

Let the pain of mother be understood
For her, it is important to have male or female child
The attainment of motherhood is like ascending heavenly thrown
The joy is not restricted to her alone

The mother has entire world at her disposal
She is now special individual
She knows that it is futile to curse for gender
Only her soul enjoys it more as mother
