The Never Surrounds You Now Poem by Ron Schmidt

The Never Surrounds You Now

The never surrounds the now say I
as the light I keep will be forever lit
Two sides of the moon where darkness lay dormant
The hustle and bustle of days gone by
Are finding me in a hazy, lazy gaze of afternoon
Transformed to the wonderment of life evermore It shall be real soon

The objective will lay dormant until the seed begins to grow again
Offering hope for those in need
A twinkle in their eyes a glimmer of hope
For which I shall breathe again
and this day will be forever more
Sweet mumblings to catch a glimpse
of the cataclysmic events
that will take place
Is shadowed by the overwhelming fear that is being faced
Live each day as is lasting memory
Tis the bitter pill that swallows you whole
Forgetting to and fro, steady time from the space of mind,
Giving into you
Prioritize, socialize, what’s more important
My BFF or my parents at best
Life ever lasts eternity an uncompromising fate.
Live your life as no tomorrow
Watch the east as The Son will come
Don’t overlook, focus as one
Give up the past, present and your future
Come back to Me I’m calling you
Stand with Me and your future will be again
Invite Me in and see no more devastation
for death is at the door
Don’t let him in, don’t you even give in
Be uncompromising and see the bright light of tomorrow shine through
That stands of The Sons rays for your
The shadow shall be no more
