The New World Poem by Kishore Kumar Das

The new World
is very much within my reach
I visualize.....
the green and cool atmosphere
the cuckoo singing the melodious tunes
peacocks dancing in the garden
the green plants bursting with fragrant flowers
the surrounding people, all gentle and cheerful
no room for any sorrow
the atmosphere full of joy
the new world, an imagination of my mind
which I can picture
when I am depressed
deriving the energy
to march forward.
