The Night My Mom Died Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

The Night My Mom Died

Rating: 5.0

The night you vanished
From my life I found no stars
Shining in the sky
No wind blew lifting tufts
Of my black hair
I felt like lost in the brazen
Twists and turns of the path
Leading to my adulthood
The night you breathed last
My heart pounded like a storm
Creating chaos
Darkness gripped my mind
And I fell on the ground
To wake up in my father's lap
In the black hours of the morn

I'm feeling the edge of a tear reading this, the title alone was painful enough, reading this felt like a piece of my soul was stripped. I can't ever end the pain. But I feel for you, thank you for sharing
