The Ocean's Roar
If you listen closely you can hear
it softly whispering in you ear
As you walk on the sand
with the wind in your hair
You can understand
what it is that you hear
The words become clearer
as you walk near the water
With a complete lack of fear
for the first time ever
but it disappears
as you drift away further
and you shed a tear
because nothing lasts forever
