The Ocean, Where It Lays Poem by Mike Mendoza

The Ocean, Where It Lays

Rating: 5.0

Under the ground lies my kin
Under my soul, journeys within
A touch of the wind. Bears a sting
Still within, still within

Someone, who's first'
Takes me away from burdens thirst
Im insane or maybe cursed
I don't know whatever's worst
Broken or remained, lesson learned
Twas my first, 'twas my first

I feel as if I gone through
Whichever if, whatever calls you
Though the ocean, where it lays
May not sound true
I wouldn't mind, if you didn't too.
