The Old Man That Cannot Remember Poem by Dorsey Baker

The Old Man That Cannot Remember

Rating: 3.0

You are trying
To make him remember
Everything that he did
But that was a very long time a go
And he was just a kid
He is an old man now
And sometimes his memory
It just don't work so well
Can't you tell

You go to the secret vault
Pick out an assault
But nobody is perfect
Everybody has a fault
You are picking on him
Because he is full of fear
And very close to dying
And it don't really matter
Whether you are telling the truth
Or whether you are lying
