The Other Side Of Me Poem by Timothy Lee Hollandsworth Jr.

The Other Side Of Me

Rating: 5.0

If you aske me my name
I'll give you no answer
If you ask how I'm doing
I'll ask you to die of cancer
If you ask what's my problem,
I'll say I haven't got em.
If it looks like I'm angry,
That's because I am
If it looks like I'm scary
That's because I am.
If my face says beware
Then you had better take care
To not come near me.
That's the other side of me.

All I see is anger
All I hear is hate
All I feel is rage
and it all just suffocates
nothing in life is free
nothing good comes easy
and nothing ever fits in place
it drives a man crazy.

It's the other side of me
The darker side of me
The disturbed part of me
The perturbed part of me
I think I need a lobotomy

It's easy to see I've lost my mind
And that I'm off my rocker
So when I committed my crime
It was not a shocker
I told my shrink, My good doctor
about it and i need a lobotomy
so they can drill a hole in my head
I need a lobotomy to make me brain dead
He suggested shock therapy instead
But that's when I said there's something.
Something inside of me I can't tame

It's the other side of me
The darker side of me
The disturbed part of me
The perturbed part of me
I really need a lobotomy
