The Places We Meet Are Like The Spaces Inbetween These Margins Poem by Trey Salm

The Places We Meet Are Like The Spaces Inbetween These Margins

this is a song about the girl buried in the snow
i percieved to save her and bring her from the cold.
but she was the one with something to teach
she showed me of love, and the ways for which i reach.

This is a song about the boy who swallowed his heart, too afraid to wear it on his sleeve.

I saved him from his aching past, by breaking each unforgiving branch.

He built me a path to uncover the bliss, a pristine form of life I forever will live.

this is a song about the girl drowning in the sea.
i saved her from her watery grave, but really she
saved me.
and i kissed her lips to revive her fragile frame,
she told me of everything, everything i soon became.

This is a song about the boy who found me at a most desperate place.

He blew away the dark clouds that were trapped over my shoulder,

I discovered his strength which blew away any passing soldier.

His vines that wrapped so naturally around my soul pouring the purest form of wine, began to wither.

Our voice soon began to fade, as time did pass we did grow further.
