The Primeval Scream Poem by Wayne Falconer

The Primeval Scream

Rating: 5.0

Primeval scream
is buried
deep within
every mother son.

Locked away
awaiting to be
heard man
today friend.

Perhaps tomorrow
inner call
hopes to awake
grab the heart.

Wake the soul
tear apart
open wide
the window shutters.

To allow
awakening within
the growing
oppressed shudder.

You or me
might call
expose anew
the primeval scream.
