The Promise of Spring
Spring's coming!
The butterfly bush is
Beginning to bloom.
Daffadils are smiling
All over the place
Faces of yellow with
White tinted lace caps.
Spring's waving in between
The pines and oaks
Folks rake in new turf
Teasing the earth to wake
Up warmer days...
Spring!
Soon to be
A happening!
Yall Come!
