The Quiet Pen

the quiet pen
of poets asleep
it's many men
whose souls they keep
inside a brain
the left hemisphere
it's all so logical
but FOOL of FEAR
of the Right
and her love
without principles
that beauteous dove
keep it all deep within
share it not,
a rational compassion?
rob the world of balanced
action
because to the middle
you won't move a fraction
