The Rails
You are one
And I’m the other
We are two rails running in parallel
Never join
When a train comes
We share our burden
And when a storm attacks
We maintain together our positions
Two rails
Your are one
And I’m the other
We run side by side
Never need to intersect
The train rolls away
We nod to signal
And smile a smile of understanding
After the passing of the storm
