The Reason Poem by matet marino

The Reason

Some people take some time to ask me why
I live in silence then hide my smiles
and bury the misery here inside of me
living myself in a misery.

I let myself sigh before I spill all out
the stains in my life which are poisoning me
Yes i say it all but none of them hear
even if i have screamed it out to their ear.

Slowly things are not the way they are
only the stars could hear me though they are a far
the reason why i'm suffocated by this sweet bitter breeze
is the reality that you can no longer be here for me.
