The river dances as the shadows creak
The sky shivers as the windmills speak
The rain convalesces as the pavement bent
My body is weary and my minutes spent
Grey apples and blue oranges meld together
The air becomes fragile and breaks forever
Buses and cars fight for the corner
The cold wind blows just a little warmer
Clutter and salvage clean out my shed
Matter and atoms filling my head
Golden skies glow when stars align
The seas are rising in a subtle sublime
Books and bandages trip at my feet
Eternal activity when the pages meet
Smoke and mirrors find my eye
Music and words tell the perfect lie
My cosmos meets me in the middle row
The universe battles as onions grow
Pots and pans create perfect space
The slug and snail play the futile race
Ghosts of the dead spring to life
Shadows hiding their trouble and strife
Brambles burning in the midnight sun
All this and more as my dream has just begun...
