The Rose Poem by Joyce Hemsley

The Rose

Forty Words:

A garden's gloomy without a rose
or golden shrub in the jardiniere...
'twould be a wilderness of weeds
with insects flying everywhere.
But roses beautify the borders
bringing happiness and delight,
colouring a summertime garden
red - yellow - pink and white.
