The Sadness Is Not Only In Being Old



THE SADNESS IN NOT ONLY IN BEING OLD

The sadness is not only in being old-
One’s time has passed-
One is no longer needed-
Others have what to say,
In a new way you cannot-
The sadness is in being irrelevant-
And there seems to be no way out of it.
