The Scheme Of Things Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

The Scheme Of Things

When things don’t go exactly as planned
You may think that life is unfair or bland
Perhaps you think that you have been gypped
From deserved honors you have been stripped

As long as you are living there is a chance
To try again and have an opportunity to advance
The passing of time grants us valuable knowledge
Experience is the teacher in the worldwide college

We must be wise enough to recognize the importance
Of each waking moment of each an every single day
Unfavorable winds blow and bring challenges to be sure
The major significance is that we preserver and endure

When earthly days are finished and it is time to say goodbye
Hopefully we will be able to say…now I understand why
I understand that overcoming difficulties made me stronger
Now that the scheme is figured out… I wish I could stay longer

The grand scheme of life, so wonderfully held aloft by you. Wonderful poem Theresa.
