the fiery and scorching sun faded away,
sizzling, shy and misty winter ventured in,
sun, menacing fireball rose gently glowing,
bright silver rays cutting through sizzling mist.
flowers and foliage covered the horizon,
quickly did the burrower dig a network of tunnels,
even as the farmer looked puzzled at the loss of carrots, .
happy young fish in pond moved in circles,
while the ducks and cranes waited on shore, .
men sat up in comfort, hopes soaring high,
women began to sing, forgetting the ordeal..
young women dared to bare nude in bath,
dressed in colors, sprinkling perfumes,
waited for the early demise of mighty sun,
to cuddle up and make love, long sought
and to spend the joyous night together,
in bliss, sharing a single wool.
