The Shark Poem by Gert Strydom

The Shark

Living in the blue deep,
without rest like, a machine without sleep,
it does cross the ocean unseen
and goes to places that no man has been
but it does create great fear
when on the crest of a wave it does appear
with deadly teeth shining
it becomes a terrifying thing
