What do you think this poem is about?

The Sight Of A Small Child

THE SIGHT OF A SMALL CHILD

The sight of a small child
Brought tears to my eyes
To watch him fumble
And falter
Fall and rise
Near his mother’s caring eyes
Was all the pleasure
A morning needed.
