The Skin Of Light Poem by Gert Strydom

The Skin Of Light

The skin of light of the moon disappears,
are replaced by the bright sun
and outside there are insects and birds
are busy gathering

but inside I am woken by first light,
see a ray splashing down upon your beautiful face,
the heat of the bed is comfortable around us
and even in your sleep you look lovely.
