The Song Of The Deaf And Dumb Poem by spiritual seeker

The Song Of The Deaf And Dumb

Rating: 5.0

They say these children are deaf and dumb,
That their world is silent and hopeless,
And their tongues are tied, with no beautiful words to say.
But look! How can there be silence in their world?
When I see smiles in their faces,
As if there is music playing in their heart!

In a world where there is love and care,
There is always hope and happiness,
Like living life of a burning candle,
Or singing melodious song to a lonely broken heart,
Like beautiful flowers to a garden,
or rainy days after a long draught…
That only you and me who can make a difference!

So do not despair when you are deaf and dumb,
Cause music can still play in your heart,
But lo, one is certainly a wretched creature,
Who has no feeling in their heart,
Having eyes but do not see!
Having ears but do not listen!
Spitting poison from their soft tongue,
Living alone in their cold dark selfish world,
While others bathe in the warmth of the bright sunlight.

A great message in very nice verses. So, true, so many of us have eyes but do not see, ears but do not hear. A 10+ from me
