Prayers of love may fade in strife
Flowers of heaven may never bloom inside
A thing of beauty may not joy provide
But summons of death can never kill life.
Each moment be spent in remorse of past
Of glorious days, never meant to last
And evil memories, oh the burn they cast!
Polished demeanor and the inside are masked.
When He shines the light, we seek the dark
He showers peace, we shade in lark
He gives us all, we search for ‘my’
He lets us live, we live to die.
Intertwined between fear and mercy, the perennial pain will go
The fire inside will seek its ice when stars of faith will glow.
stars of faith glows, good write, thanks. I invite you to read my poems and comment.

I love it! You are truly a poet. A agree, even a tiny spark remain, there is still hope for life. I like to dream for a burning fire though! God Bless, Don Nguyen
